About

My journey in photography commenced some 20 years ago triggered by the sale of my professional business.  I purchased a Camera which provoked an avid interest in photography and a quest to capture moments in time to preserve for future development.

I was fortunate to form an association with National Trust for who I undertook “reportage” photography for which included visits of the Director General of National Trust in the Peak District.

Over a period of time I had the opportunity of arranging 12 Exhibitions at National Trust venues displaying my own photographic work.  These Exhibitions were arranged on an attended basis for durations of one to three week periods in various large stately homes spread over their various galleries.

I have been active in joining various Photographic Clubs with competition successes and also International competitions.

From my experiences of photography I believe this to be a very personal attribute in being able to “see” an image that may not be clearly apparent without the reliance of modern technology to create imagery.
